Second on the list of the top video marketing platforms is Facebook, which is used by 86% of brands. This is four percentage points lower than that of YouTube, and comes despite its higher number of users.
Instagram and LinkedIn rank next, with 79% and 76%, respectively. Webinar-hosting sites follow on the list of the top video marketing platforms, used by 70% of marketers.
Sixth and seventh on the ranking of the top video marketing platforms are X, formerly known as Twitter, and TikTok. Two-thirds (69%) of businesses use these channels for video marketing. Despite its relatively high position on this list, the same study shows that TikTok is viewed as a less effective option for video marketing—more than half (52%) of marketers named it as ineffective.
Facebook Live follows on the list of the top video marketing platforms. In eighth place, it is used by 68% of brands. Interactive videos and Snapchat complete the list of the top video marketing platforms, used by 65% and 57% of marketers, respectively. It’s worth noting that Snapchat’s popularity as a video marketing platform has risen tremendously over the past year. In 2023, just 13% of brands used it for video marketing, a difference of 43 percentage points.
